Vietnam
The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reported that from March this year, Air Astana will begin operating new routes to Vietnam in the following directions:
Almaty - Nha Trang: 4 times a week;
Astana - Nha Trang: 3 times a week.
It should be noted that there is a visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and Vietnam. Citizens can stay for 30 calendar days from the date of entry into the country, a total of 90 calendar days during each period of 6 months.
China
From March 30, 2025, the airline will also launch a flight to one of the largest cities in China - Guangzhou. Flights will be operated three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, on a modern Airbus A321LR aircraft.
Flight schedule (local time):
departure from Almaty - 8:50 PM, arrival in Guangzhou - 5:45 AM the next day;return flight: departure from Guangzhou - 6:50 AM, arrival in Almaty - 10:20 PM.
"The cost of a round-trip air ticket, including taxes and other fees, in economy class starts from 281 385 tenge, in business class - from 827 491 tenge.
Guangzhou is the largest industrial center of China, a world leader in light industry and an important economic and cultural center with more than 2000 years of history. The city is located 120 kilometers northwest of Hong Kong," the company said in a statement.
It is noted that the air carrier operates 7 flights a week to Beijing from Almaty and Astana, as well as 4 flights a week to Urumqi from Almaty.
Kazakhstanis can stay in China without a visa for up to 30 days.
Egypt
Air Cairo will offer direct flights from Kazakhstan to popular Egyptian resorts from spring 2025:
Kostanay - Sharm el-Sheikh: 1 time per week;
Almaty - Hurghada: 2 times per week.
It is reported that it is also planned to resume flights from Almaty to El Alamein with a frequency of 1 flight per week.
