Chase in the Caspian Sea caught on video

Tengrinews.kz - The pursuit of offenders by sea border guards in the Caspian Sea was captured on video and published on social networks.
The video of the pursuit of the violators was reportedly posted online October 17 on Instagram page 112.
The video shows the violators in a boat trying to escape from border guards on the Caspian Sea. The violators maneuver deftly at high speed, while simultaneously filming the chase from a first-person perspective.

It is unclear from the video whether the border guards managed to catch the offenders. The press service of the regional Border Service confirmed that the vessel does indeed belong to their department.

"The vessel is ours. But perhaps the border patrol detained them on the shore. And it is not a fact that they are poachers, perhaps they are simply violators of the territorial waters regime. Perhaps this is an old video. There are many such chases. We are currently conducting the second stage of operational and preventive measures to combat poaching," the press service concluded.

Earlier, expert confirms Caspian Sea is not at risk of disappearing.
