Kazakh President held talks with Chancellor of Germany

The President of Kazakhstan thanked Olaf Scholz for accepting the invitation to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit.
"This is the first visit by a German head of government in 14 years, which makes it historic. I am confident that we will give a significant boost to the development of cooperation and the increase in trade turnover. Germany is one of our key partners in Europe and globally. We attach great importance to multifaceted cooperation and will strive to deepen it," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed his gratitude for Kazakhstan's hospitality and emphasized the importance of further strengthening Kazakh-German cooperation.

"I thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to discuss our bilateral relations and contribute to their advancement. It is notable that I am accompanied by a substantial delegation of business representatives," emphasized the Chancellor of Germany.
The parties discussed the expansion of political, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties. Special attention was paid to cooperation in energy, the green transition, industry, mining, transportation, logistics, climate change, environmental issues, agriculture, and education.
It should be noted that Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz arrived in Kazakhstan on September 16 for an official visit.
