Kazakhstan and China to build lunar research station
Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan and China have signed a memorandum to build a joint lunar research base. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry.
According to the ministry, Kazakhstan and China will collaborate in the creation and operation of the International Lunar Scientific Station (ILSS). The agreement between the two countries includes joint research, sharing of expertise and knowledge, and development of cooperation in space technology and science.
Additionally, as part of the project, Kazakhstan plans to develop and launch a domestic lunar observatory. The project will also involve joint scientific research and the development of new technologies. Kazakhstan's contributions will include strengthening scientific and technical infrastructure and exchanging expertise with Chinese specialists.
