China's Xi Jinping highlights friendship with Kazakhstan
Astana, Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping engaged in extensive discussions in Astana, highlighting the deepening ties between Kazakhstan and China.
Xi Jinping commended Kazakhstan's rapid development under President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's leadership, envisioning a robust foundation for a prosperous New Kazakhstan.
"Our countries' friendship dates back to the ancient Silk Road and has continuously evolved over millennia. Over the past 32 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, our bilateral ties have reached an unprecedented level of enduring comprehensive strategic partnership, characterized by eternal friendship, deep mutual trust, and solidarity," - remarked Xi Jinping.
President of the People's Republic of China supported Kazakhstan's constructive role in the international arena as a middle power.

During the talks, discussions centered on the potential for advancing investment cooperation across several sectors including e-commerce, automotive manufacturing and parts production, transit transport, logistics, energy, agriculture, finance, and tourism.
Both leaders acknowledged the efficient mechanisms in place for trade and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. They reiterated their governments' commitment to offering full support for the successful execution of ongoing and future business ventures.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping also exchanged ideas on enhancing interregional cooperation and broadening cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

President Tokayev supported the establishment of a branch of Beijing Language and Culture University and the Luban Workshop, underscoring that advancing scientific and educational collaboration between the two countries reflects the essence of their enduring comprehensive strategic partnership.
Xi Jinping arrived in Kazakhstan on July 2 for an official state visit. He will also attend the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
