Mrs. Thomas Dorry of Hollywood. Fla. PHILIP A.VOGELMAN Daughter in White Plains Philip A. Vogelman, a leader in the silk industry and a philanthropist, died yesterday at his home New York City. He was the father of Mrs. Henry Moss of 4 Colonial Road, White Plains. Vogelman, president and chairman of the Onondaga Silk Co.Inc. in New York City, was credited with introducing fabric prints based on the works of well-known artists. He was in the silk business 60 years and headed Onondaga for 50 years. Elected to the Textile Hall of Fame and the recipient of the Tommy Award of the American Printed Fabrics Council, Vogelman has been chairman of the International Silk U.S.A., and a director of the Textile Distributors AssoC.
