Lady Captain´s Weekly News November 25th

I have been in England this week, so many thanks to Svetlana for running the competitions for me. I flew back in time for the Monthly Medal sponsored by VinoMarketand a surprise presentation by our president Stephen to George & Jenny Lamb.

The Lamb family have been an integral part of the San Roque Club with their support to the staff and to Charities over the years. The club have made George & Jenny Honorary Members. Also, the Mixed Foursomes competition has been renamed George & Jenny Lamb Mixed Foursomes. They play 9 holes most mornings at 8.00 and are an example to all of us that ‘you just got to keep moving’. Fantastic idea.

This monthly medal was very tightly fought with Helen on count back winning from Mandy. Well played both of you and this is despite Helen having a 10 on the second hole! ‘ Never give up ‘ springs to mind.

INTERCLUB vs Los Naranjos (postponed home)

Friday 22ndNovember

We had a one-point deficit from the away match which was not a problem.

The team won the home match 9-3.

Overall victory to San Roque of 14.5 –9.5.

Well done Captain Agi and the team of:

Agi, Pascale, Judith, Ksenia, Anne, Diane,

Tina and BIRTHDAY GIRL LINDA. A little celebration was had in the bar later.

AND FINALLY

The annual Las Damas Competition at La Canada was on Saturday.
