Leipzig is awarded digital hub status

Leipzig, together with Dresden, has been awarded the contract as a digital hub by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). A (digital) hub is a node where actors of a start-up scene meet. A local network is crucial for the start-up and development of start-ups, which allows for the exchange of ideas, staff and capital and promotes innovation.
