Dam owners issued heavy rain alert warning ahead of Hurricane Hermine

COLUMBIA -- State officials want dam owners to evaluate and possibly lower their pond levels ahead of the heavy rains expected to douse the state as Hurricane Hermine descends on South Carolina.
