State Ethics Commission has 30 days to consider dismissing complaint against Treasurer Curtis Loftis

COLUMBIA — It will be another 30 days before the public learns if the State Ethics Commission will dismiss a claim that Treasurer Curtis Loftis used his position to help a friend land a job representing his office in a lawsuit.
