Sen. Hugh Leatherman's daughter elected to university board

COLUMBIA — State lawmakers overwhelmingly elected Karen Leatherman, a daughter of Senate President Pro Tem Hugh Leatherman, to the Francis Marion University Board of Trustees on Wednesday.
