Tengrinews.kz — American rapper, producer, and designer Kanye West (Ye) is set to perform in Almaty. The Almaty City Administration has confirmed information regarding the upcoming concert.

According to a post on one of the artist's fan pages, the performance is scheduled for August 14, 2026, with ticket sales expected to launch on July 20. The concert will reportedly take place at the Central Stadium in Almaty.

According to media reports at the time, the artist received a multi-million dollar fee for the private concert. The performance sparked significant public outcry and criticism.
Additionally, Kazakhstani specialists have worked on several of his projects in recent years.
In 2024, Medet Shayakhmetov, VFX studio Buralqy, and Kaisar Adilkhan were involved in creating music videos for the album Vultures. Medet Shayakhmetov also worked on another Kanye music video released later that year.
