Tengrinews.kz – Speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to Republic Day, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the ultimate goal of Kazakhstan’s ongoing reforms, citing Akorda.
As the Head of State noted, “the ultimate goal of the reforms we are implementing together is to adapt Kazakhstan to new realities, thereby strengthening the country's sovereignty and increasing its competitiveness.”

“My civic duty as Head of State is to ensure the territorial integrity, independence, and economic development of our country,” the President emphasized.

Tokayev reminded that the modern world has entered a fundamentally new historical stage: on one hand, conflicts and wars continue, while on the other, high technologies and artificial intelligence are rapidly developing.

“Despite such a complex situation, our country continues to develop steadily. We have established friendly relations with all countries, and Kazakhstan is recognized as a reliable partner. Thanks to this, we are attracting significant investments in energy, transport, logistics, information technology, agriculture, and other sectors,” the President listed.

According to Tokayev, in these turbulent times, foreign policy based on the traditions of balanced diplomacy is of particular importance.

“We believe that all states should find common ground and reach compromises. It is necessary to strengthen mutual trust and respect and to develop partnerships,” he noted.

The Head of State called the recent opening of the UN Regional Center for the Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan in Almaty a major achievement.

“At the anniversary session of the UN General Assembly, I drew special attention to key international issues and made a number of proposals. The world must establish a system of fair international relations that takes into account the interests of all countries. Kazakhstan, as a responsible and influential member of the global community, will continue to pursue a balanced and constructive foreign policy,” the President concluded.
