“Sunflower fields near Almaty. At dawn and against the backdrop of our mountains, it’s so beautiful,” he wrote.

The post gathered over 300 comments from users.
"Beautiful," "A golden sea," "So much sunshine at sunset. The beauty of sunflowers is mesmerizing," "Truly pleasing to the eye, I love these little suns," people wrote in the comments.
Dmitry told us that he took the photos not far from Almaty.

“I shot them yesterday morning and evening. Wild sunflowers don’t grow here, so of course this is a private field owned by a farming household. That means organizing photo sessions with people there isn't appropriate — or at the very least, one should ask for permission. The sunflower season is short: soon they’ll be filled with seeds and lose their photogenic look. And yes, of course I asked for permission to approach the field. But it's important to understand: landscape photography and organizing portrait photo shoots are completely different things,” he noted.

The photographer admitted that he didn’t find the scenic field by chance — friends had shared the location with him.

“I find places in different ways: I often travel by car and spot something interesting myself. Besides that, my followers share locations and sometimes ask me to photograph specific spots. The sunflower field was suggested to me by friends,” he explained.

After the photos were published, many people began asking where exactly the field is located. According to the photographer, it's important not only to share beauty but also to treat it with care.

“Almaty is a big city, and after eye-catching photos, places quickly gain popularity. The most important thing is for people to treat the beauty of our nature and city with respect,” he added.
