'Women's compartment' to appear on another train in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – The national railway carrier is launching a women's carriage on route No. 614/613 Uralsk – Mangystau.
According to the press service of JSC "Passenger Transportation," passengers will be able to ride in such a compartment starting from June 1.

"Tickets for women's carriages are sold only to women, and only female conductors work in these carriages. Male passengers up to the age of seven are also allowed to travel in the 'women's compartment.' Tickets for the women's carriage can be purchased at the station ticket offices — make sure to inform the cashier that you want a women's seat — or online at bilet.railways.kz. When booking online, be sure to look for the abbreviation 'ЖН' (meaning 'women’s') to indicate that the ticket is for a women's carriage," the company's press service reminded.
