King of Jordan welcomed Tokayev with embrace and red carpet
Tengrinews.kz - The press service of Akorda has released photos and videos of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s reception at Al Husseiniya Palace in Jordan, citing Akorda’s statement.
Tokayev was welcomed by King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and Crown Prince Al-Hussein.
On February 18, the Kazakh Head of State arrived in Jordan for an official visit. He was greeted at Queen Alia International Airport by Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein and Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan.
On February 19, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and Crown Prince Al-Hussein welcomed Tokayev at Al Husseiniya Palace.

A formal welcoming ceremony was held at the palace for President Tokayev, who is on an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
An honor guard was lined up in front of the palace in honor of the distinguished guest.
The national anthems of Kazakhstan and Jordan were performed by a military band.
After the commander of the honor guard reported, the heads of state proceeded to the meeting hall.

As previously reported, Tokayev’s visit to Jordan would include talks with King Abdullah II in both narrow and expanded formats, resulting in the signing of several bilateral agreements.
High-level negotiations are also planned during the visit, focusing on further developing bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields.

President Tokayev previously noted that Jordan is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the Middle East and the Arab world.
Jordan is an Arab country located on the eastern bank of the Jordan River, known for its ancient landmarks and nature reserves. It shares borders with Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Israel, and the Palestinian territories.
