Elon Musk shows nazi salute-like gesture at Trump parade
Tengrinews.kz – American billionaire Elon Musk, speaking at the parade in honor of US President Donald Trump's inauguration, twice showed a gesture similar to the traditional fascist salute.
The speech took place at the Capital One Arena in Washington. The richest man on the planet called Trump's victory not an ordinary event, but one of great significance, since the vote became "a fork in the road of human civilization."
"My heart goes out to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured. Thanks to you. We're gonna have safe cities, finally safe cities. Secure borders, sensible spending. Basic stuff. And we're gonna take 'Doge' to Mars," Musk said.
He did not hide his joyful emotions about Trump's inauguration and said that "this is what victory feels like." At the end of his speech, he demonstrated a gesture similar to a Nazi salute, his speech was broadcast on American TV channels.

The gesture in question is the so-called Roman salute, in which the bent right arm with the palm over the heart is quickly extended forward with the palm straightened.
In Hitler's Germany, the Nazis used a similar gesture, in which the hand moved forward from any position - currently, the demonstration of this gesture is prohibited in a number of countries.
Trump officially took office as the President of the United States on Monday, taking the oath of office at the inauguration ceremony held at the Capitol.
