Over 10,000 people left Kazakhstan in the last nine months
Tengrinews.kz - According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics, over 10,000 people left Kazakhstan in the past nine months, citing 24.kz.
During the same period, more than 20,000 people moved to Kazakhstan. Nearly 1,500 foreign nationals arrived from China, while around 1,000 came from Mongolia.
Half of the immigrants from China settled in Astana or Almaty. For those from Mongolia, the Akmola region was the most popular destination, with 33% of the total number of migrants choosing to live there.
Previously, the Bureau of National Statistics reported that Kazakhstan's population has grown by 210,139 people since the beginning of 2024.
