Fake Kazakh passports: four foreigners detained in Phuket
Tengrinews.kz - Three men and a woman were arrested at Phuket International Airport on the morning of December 10 while attempting to pass passport control with fake Kazakh passports.
According to Phuket News, immigration officers noticed that the passport covers were different from the originals. For example, two of the passports were missing the emblem of Kazakhstan.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the arrested individuals were citizens of Afghanistan.
This is not the first such arrest in Thailand. In August of this year, Phuket Immigration Bureau officers arrested an airline passenger attempting to enter the country with a fake Kazakh passport. He was also a citizen of Afghanistan.
