Bridging prep school and Title I, pen pals meet for first time

Since early October, fourth-graders at majority-black North Charleston Elementary School have been exchanging letters with pen pals at majority-white Mason Preparatory School in downtown Charleston. They met each other for the first time Wednesday afternoon during the WINGS after-school program at NCES.
