Swiss citizen arrested for car accident in Kazakhstan
Tengrinews.kz - A Swiss citizen has been arrested for 20 days in Kazakhstan's Kyzylorda region for driving under the influence and causing a car accident.
According to case materials, the foreigner, while intoxicated, crashed into a metal barrier dividing the lanes on the Samara-Shymkent highway.
"The court found the offender guilty and imposed a 20-day administrative arrest, as well as a 7-year ban on driving," stated the Kyzylorda regional court.
Previously, there was an incident involving a foreigner on an Almaty bus, where video footage showed him occupying two seats and verbally abusing passengers who asked him to free one of them.
