Camille Cottin – When we introduced Stillwater (2021). I remember Matt Damon’s emotion, as well as the way in which Marion Cotillard took me under her wing, because she was more experienced than I was.
What, in the room, will scare you most on the night of your opening speech?
Myself.
Could you name one master or mistress of ceremonies that left a distinct

Audrey Tautou in 2013; I loved the way she put the microphone against her heart, and found it to be very romantic.
If you could bring anyone on the red carpet? Anyone.
Billy Wilder.

The best thing you can say when you didn’t like a friend’s film?
I think there is a time to hear and receive everything, so I try to adapt to what this
friend expects of me at such a time and to what they’re ready (or not) to hear.
Opening or closing night?
Opening.
The film you regret watching?
I don’t necessarily regret watching it, but the scene in Novecento by Bertolucci
where the skull of a young boy gets smashed has haunted me for quite a while.
