Jesse Jackson, activists call for protecting Voting Rights Act

COLUMBIA — On the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, the Rev. Jesse Jackson joined activists at a rally Thursday in South Carolina’s capital to call for continued protection of the right to vote.
