Microsoft to drop display ad business, cut 1200 jobs: Bloomberg

(Reuters) - Microsoft Corp will close its web display advertising business, handing operations over to AOL Inc and AppNexus Inc and cutting about 1,200 jobs, Bloomberg reported.
