A ship comes under attack off the coast of Yemen as Houthi rebels continue to threaten vessels

A ship traveling off the coast of Yemen in the Gulf of Aden has come under attack. The British military's United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center said the attack happened early on Tuesday. The captain heard a splash and explosion near the vessel, but no one was hurt. The ship and crew are safe and continuing to their next destination. It's unclear who launched the attack, which occurred about 140 miles off Aden's coast. Yemen's Houthi rebels, who have targeted shipping in the Red Sea, have not claimed responsibility. The crimes against humanity charges against former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte allege his involvement in the killings of at least 76 people while he was president and earlier a southern mayor. The International Criminal Court released details Monday of the charges prosecutors submitted to the court in July. The first charge cites 19 victims killed while Duterte was mayor of Davao City between 2013 and around 2016.
