Pakistan, Turkiye progress interconnected; PM Sharif, President Erdogan discuss trade, defence in Istanbul

During a joint press conference in Istanbul, both nations pledged to boost bilateral trade to USD 5 billion, a significant jump from the current USD 1.3 billion. Defence cooperation was highlighted as a key driver for economic ties, with plans to expand collaboration in energy, transportation, and technology.
