Woman, 57, fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver outside Queens social security center: cops

Suzanne Schmeider, 57, was crossing Jamaica Avenue mid-block in front of the facility near Parsons Boulevard around 3 p.m. Wednesday when the dark-colored 2001 Lincoln LS rammed into her, police said.
