Tencent is said to be back on Paramount-Warner Bros deal with fresh funding

Tencent is considering investing several hundred million dollars in Paramount’s acquisition of Warner Bros. The Chinese company would act as a passive financial investor. Earlier plans faced US national security concerns. The $110 billion deal is backed by equity from the Ellison family and debt commitments from major financial partners.
