Bill proposes United Cajun Navy as first responders

The United Cajun Navy could be officially recognized as first responders if a proposed bill is passed, allowing them to have the term "first responder" displayed on their uniforms and be considered private-sector employees available through the Intrastate Mutual Aid Compact.
