Morning Briefing: Nolan McLean Returns to Mound

0

Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets rising star Nolan McLean returned to the mound in Port St. Lucie on Wednesday after dealing with vertigo-like symptoms for the past week or so. McLean was supposed to leave for the WBC this past Friday, but that was pushed back due to these symptoms. the Team USA pitcher told reporters that he was “fired up” to get back in action and is ready to join Team USA in Houston.

McLean is scheduled to start Team USA’s match against Team Italy on March 10. But that would just be the precursor to the WBC championship game, which he is currently in line to start if Team USA were to make it that far.
