Mark Consuelos Explains How Talk Show Gig with Wife Kelly Ripa Has Affected Their Intimate Time

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa got open and honest open their sex life during the latest episode of their morning talk show, Live! with Kelly and Mark.

“I’ve got to tell you, this job has really gotten in the way of that. It’s been the antidote for it,” Mark said.

The couple was interviewing Shrinking‘s Christa Miller, who said that her husband Bill Lawrence also prefers fun in the morning, even though she doesn’t like it.

“Bill, for the love of God,” Kelly said. “On behalf of all of us here in the studio audience, there is absolutely no morning sex.”

Mark added, “I don’t know, Bill. Something tells me you should go for it.”

Last year, Kelly talked about Mark‘s preference for morning sex.

“I find it disgusting,” she said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, adding that Mark wants it “only in the morning… He’ll never learn. He’s a guy.”

“I said to him, ‘Here’s the thing,’” she added. “‘There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can’t always be your way. ‘Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it’s your way. And now that we work together every day, it’s gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way’s at night only.’”

Mark has another job this year that will add even more work hours to his busy schedule.
