'Babydoll' Lyrics: Dominic Fike 2018 Song Goes Viral in 2026

Dominic Fike‘s music is suddenly gaining attention online.

The 30-year-old Euphoria star and musician released his debut EP Don’t Forget About Me, Demos back in October of 2018, but in the past few weeks, his song “Babydoll” has surged on streaming.

Though fans haven’t exactly pinpointed the moment that it began surging in popularity, it’s now hovering in the Top 50 USA and Top 50 Global on Spotify, and is getting nearer to passing the billion stream mark!

The personal track features some references to his upbringing (“Find me on Miami concrete / Lookin’ for somebody different ’cause my daddy was a pimp / My mama had her issues but I miss her anyway”), and sees the singer unable to move on from his “babydoll.”

“I wasn’t supposed to make it where I was from – I’m from sleepy, no-one-gives-a-f–k-about Naples, Florida, but I just never stopped. I’ve made so many attempts. I’d been making music for seven years before that s–t happened, which doesn’t seem like a long time, but I was every day. It’s all I thought about every day. And when I made the demos, I was honestly tired. Like, ‘Man, I’m about to give the f–k up. I’m growing up, I gotta get a job, my mom’s in jail, what the f–k am I doing? My brother’s in jail and my sister’s being taken away by child services. I need to do something with my life, but first I’m gonna make this demo tape.’ And then it happened. It was crazy,” he said to Coup de Main.

On Friday (February 27), Dominic re-released the song as a single alongside his latest single “White Keys” on streaming due to its surging popularity.
