Luke Grimes will reprise his "Yellowstone" role as Kayce Dutton in "Marshals."

The next installment in the Yellowstone franchise has arrived. We've gathered everything you need to know about the new spinoff, including where to watch Marshals, how to watch other Yellowstone shows, and a look at the trailer.

Marshals picks up in the aftermath of the bombshell fifth season of Yellowstone and follows Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) as he tries to pick up the pieces of his life. While some details surrounding Kayce's circumstances are being kept under wraps, the contemporary Western series tracks Kayce as he joins an elite team of US Marshals in Montana. Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, Mo Brings Plenty, Brecken Merrill, and Gil Birmingham also star.

The viewing options differ slightly from the flagship Yellowstone series and its prequel spinoffs, but we've outlined everything you need to know below. Keep reading to learn some of the best ways to watch Marshals, including live streaming and on-demand options.

Where to watch Marshals in the US

Marshals airs on CBS in the US. This is different from the Yellowstone prequels, 1883 and 1923, which are only available as streaming exclusives on Paramount Plus. It's also a shakeup from the original Yellowstone series, which aired on the Paramount Network.

Cord-cutters hoping to tune into Marshals have a few different avenues to explore, the cheapest of which is Paramount Plus. Paramount Plus Premium allows subscribers to live stream CBS, so they can watch new episodes of Marshals the same time that they air. Premium costs $14 a month and also unlocks ad-free on-demand streaming and Showtime programming. If you don't mind waiting a day (and watching with ads), the $9 a month Paramount Plus Essential tier gets new episodes the day after they air.

You can also live stream Marshals by using a live TV streaming service, which carries multiple channels beyond just CBS. Two of the best live TV streaming services we've tested are DirecTV and Fubo, both of which carry CBS in their lineups.

DirecTV offers CBS in all of its Signature plans, but if you're looking for a budget-friendly option, you can also find the network in the DirecTV MyNews genre pack. This tier offers around 10 channels for $40 a month, though local channels can vary by region, so it's a good idea to double-check what's available in your ZIP code before signing up. DirecTV plans include a 5-day free trial. Fubo carries CBS across its Pro, Elite, and Sports + News plans. Fubo Sports + News costs $56 a month, but new users can get $10 off their first month of service after a brief free trial.

How to watch Marshals from anywhere

Fans traveling away from home can still keep up with their usual viewing methods with the aid of a VPN. VPNs, or virtual private networks, are handy tools that let people temporarily change the location of their devices. This way, they can access their usual websites, apps, and services from anywhere. They're also instant ways to improve cybersecurity. Since the services we've highlighted accept US payment methods, this option is best for Americans who are simply traveling abroad at the moment.

NordVPN is one of the best options on the market. It's fast, user-friendly, and has a 30-day money-back guarantee if you find that it's not what you're looking for. You can learn more in our NordVPN review.

Marshals, a Yellowstone spinoff trailer

CBS dropped an official trailer for Marshals in January. The action-packed promo gives a first look at Kayce and his new team, along with a few familiar faces. Check out the full video below:

Where to watch other Yellowstone shows

Marshals is the fourth installment in the Yellowstone universe, following the original Yellowstone series and the 1883 and 1923 prequels. Fans can stream the prequels with their Paramount Plus subscriptions, along with other Taylor Sheridan shows, including Landman, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Special Ops: Lioness, and the upcoming series The Madison (premiering on Paramount Plus on March 14). However, all five seasons of Yellowstone aired on the Paramount Network and are now streaming exclusively on Peacock, not Paramount Plus.

Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries, and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
