The Traitors' Maura Higgins Reveals Why She's Been Celibate for a Year

Maura Higgins is opening up about her sex life.

Following the season four finale of The Traitors, the 35-year-old former Love Island U.K. contestant revealed in a new interview that she’s been celibate for a year because she has a past history with untrustworthy men.

Keep reading to find out more…“I don’t trust men anyway,” Maura shared with Elite Daily. “If I wasn’t used to that kind of guy, I reckon I would’ve been crying, storming out, never speaking to him again.”

She continued, “But I’ve already got severe trust issues. I’ve been cheated on by the majority of my exes—that’s the reason I’ve been celibate for a whole year.”

Throughout the season, many fans, and fellow cast mates, believed that Maura and Rob Rausch had great chemistry and should hook up. During the reunion, Maura made it very clear that her relationship with Rob, 27, is strictly platonic.

“We were genuinely just friends,” Maura said. “We were just having fun.”
