Greece working with another 4 European countries to set up migrant deportation hubs outside EU

Greece is working with Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Denmark to set up deportation hubs outside the European Union for migrants denied asylum. Greece's Migration Minister Thanos Plevris announced plans for the new hubs on Wednesday. Plevris told Greek state TV that the preferred location for the deportation hubs was Africa, although he said that was not binding. He says officials have already met and technical teams would be meeting next week. Plevris says the hubs would deter people whose claims are unlikely to succeed.
