Teacher donates cash award to fund student’s education

An assistant teacher in Sundargarh district, Kamalini Singh, has donated her Rs 25,000 Mukhyamantri Sikhya Puraskar cash prize to a former student. Tanupama Tajan, a meritorious Plus 3 science student, will use the funds to continue her education due to her father's financial difficulties. Singh stated the prize money's best use is to shape a student's future.
