Bad Bunny Addresses Potential Special Guests for Super Bowl Halftime Show
Millions of football fans around the world will gather to watch this Sunday's Super Bowl, as the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will do battle on the field to determine an NFL champion.
Even more fans will tune in to see the highly-anticipated halftime show. This year's halftime performance will be a groundbreaking, history-making affair, as the first primarily spanish-speaking male headlining act will perform on one of the biggest stages in music.
Bad Bunny is arguably the biggest musician on the planet, and he's even performed at the Super Bowl alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez. This time around, he'll be the focal point of the show instead of a surprise special guest.
Ahead of the big night, Bad Bunny kept things close to the vest when asked if he would be bringing any special guests of his own.
"You know, that's something I'm not going to tell you," the singer said when asked if he had any guest appearances planned on Thursday, speaking to Apple Music's Zane Lowe.
Although Bad Bunny himself won’t answer, do you have any predictions? ????

Guest Performances During Super Bowl Halftime
Bringing out guest artists has been a recent tradition among Super Bowl performers. Kendrick Lamar was joined by SZA last year for performances of "Luther" and "All the Stars," and 50 Cent made a surprise appearance during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show three years ago.
At Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, R&B superstar Usher was joined by several guests, including Ludacris, Lil Jon, H.E.R. and Alicia Keys.
Many of Bad Bunny's most popular songs don't have featured artists, but he could bring out collaborators like J Balvin, Cardi B, Daddy Yankee, Rosalia or even Drake.
His popularity among his peers in the music industry was on full display at last weekend's Grammy awards, as the room erupted in applause when he won Album of the Year for "Debí Tirar Más Fotos." Bad Bunny became the first artist to win that award with a Spanish-language album, and he also became the first artist to win Album of the Year at the Grammys and Latin Grammys for the same album.

Bad Bunny's Personal Reflection on His Work
The album focuses on concepts and themes relevant to Bad Bunny's home of Puerto Rico, touching on topics like gentrification, statehood, independence and the preservation of culture. Many of the songs included feature samples of iconic traditional Puerto Rican music, and should be featured during his halftime show on Sunday.
“That album confirmed that doing things from the heart, without ambitions of position or money, always works in a positive way. It also taught me the importance of the feeling with which you record,” Bad Bunny said about "DTMF," speaking with Billboard last year.
"Many people go into the studio thinking they’re going to create the next hit, looking for what’s trending, what’s hot. Everyone wants to do a two-minute song. And that’s not it," he added.
"People want to hear music that’s real and heartfelt. That’s why a six-minute salsa track, and a four-minute plena are top songs. This reconfirms to me that I don’t need to be any one way to have a hit. I need to be me, genuine, and do things from the heart.”
Fans will be able to see Bad Bunny's heart and soul in his Super Bowl LX performance at halftime on Sunday. Super Bowl LX between the Seahawks and Patriots is scheduled to kick off around 6:30 PM ET on Sunday evening.
