‘I stand on faith, family and freedom’: Woman who actually supports Trump to guest host ‘The View’

Savannah Chrisley, an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, will be one of the guest hosts on “The View” while co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin is on maternity leave.

Chrisley will be the first guest to host the show during the week of Feb. 16 and noted that while she believes in civil discourse, she has not forgotten the co-hosts “bashing” of her family on the program. Trump notably pardoned her reality star parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, while they served time in prison over their fraud and tax evasion convictions in 2022.

I’ll be co-hosting @TheView the week of Feb 16th! I believe in sitting at tables with people who disagree with you and refusing to shrink your values to make others comfortable. I stand on faith, family, and freedom,” Chrisley said. “I hope this week opens the door to more unity and less division. But let me be clear: I have not forgotten the public bashing of my family by some of these same voices. Grace does not require amnesia.”

Both of Chrisley’s parents were tried in Fulton County, Georgia, and sentenced to 12 and seven-year sentences. While her parents served their sentences, Chrisley spoke at the Republican National Convention in 2024 where she said the justice system “persecuted” her parents.

“My family has been persecuted by rogue prosecutors due to our public profile and conservative beliefs,” Chrisley said.

Trump and 18 co-defendants faced criminal charges in Fulton County in August 2023 for their alleged attempts to interfere in the 2020 election in Georgia. An appeals court disqualified Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case in December 2024 over her previous relationship with Nathan Wade, a prosecutor on the case. A judge dismissed the case entirely on Nov. 26, 2025.

Griffin is considered to be the conservative panelist on the program, though she has consistently spewed anti-Trump rhetoric after previously working for his administration.
