Kansai Nerolac net profit plunges on high base, labour code impact

Kansai Nerolac reported a significant drop in December quarter profit to ₹117.1 crore, primarily due to an exceptional loss of ₹44.72 crore linked to the New Labor Code. Despite a slight increase in total income to ₹2,017.2 crore, the paint manufacturer's earnings were impacted by a high base from the previous year.
