Schedule shuffle at Radio Ninesprings in Somerset

Radio Ninesprings has appointed a new Breakfast presenter and a new Programme Manager.

Vicky Welton takes over Breakfast on Radio Ninesprings, having presented The Home Run between 3pm and 4pm on weekdays since 2020.

Station Manager Steve Haigh said: “Breakfast is the most important show on any station, and Vicky has absolutely earned this opportunity. She connects with listeners, understands the rhythm of radio, bringing warmth and welcome to all her shows.”

Ross Owen Williams has also been appointed as Programme Manager. Ross has hosted Drivetime from 4pm to 7pm on weekdays for the past six years and is known locally for his support of new music and artists. He succeeds Steve Carpenter in the role.

Steve will continue on air, presenting Classic Years at 10am on weekdays, with an evening repeat at 9pm, and on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm.
