Joni Mitchell Amusingly Realizes She Won Mid-Grammys 2026 Acceptance Speech!
Joni Mitchell was pleasantly surprised to win!
The 82-year-old “Help Me” musician was onstage to accept the award for Best Historical Album for Joni Mitchell Archives – Volume 4: The Asylum Years on Sunday (February 1) at the Premiere Ceremony during the 2026 Grammys in Los Angeles.
After she got onstage, she awkwardly stayed silent and turned around to the person on stage to ask who won, seemingly thinking she was just presenting during the ceremony.
“Oh, I won?!” she exclaimed as the crowd laughed.
