In anticipation of the monsoon season, Dibrugarh district orchestrated an extensive flood emergency mock exercise along the banks of the Brahmaputra River. This collaborative effort enlisted the expertise of SDRF, Fire Services, and Civil Defence teams to perform intricate deep-water rescue simulations. Meanwhile, the Bindhakata High School served as a model relief camp, showcasing best practices in managing displaced individuals.
