Budget 2026: Gaming industry welcomes proposal for creator labs in schools, colleges

FM Sitharaman proposed government support for the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), Mumbai, to set up animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics (AVGC) creator labs in 15,000 secondary schools and 500 colleges across the country.
