Rescue efforts ongoing: Ferry sinking kills 18, leaves 24 missing in south Philippines

At least 15 people were killed and 28 remained missing after a ferry carrying more than 350 passengers sank in rough seas off the southern Philippines early Monday, triggering a large-scale rescue operation.
