ET Graphics: India plans new mineral law to boost domestic output

India is moving to curb mineral lease hoarding and press states to speed up approvals as it prepares a new law to replace the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. The overhaul aims to boost domestic mineral output and reduce import dependence.
