Urgent: Toll of train derailment in S. Spain rises to 21

MADRID, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- At least 21 people were confirmed dead, and 25 others seriously injured after two high-speed trains derailed near the city of Cordoba in southern Spain.

In addition, around a hundred passengers are reportedly suffering minor injuries after a train with 317 passengers on board derailed and hit another train travelling at high speed in the opposite direction.
