For Bears (or Rams), road to the Super Bowl will go through Seattle

If the Bears go to the Super Bowl, they’ll have to go through Seattle first.

The Seahawks blew away the 49ers, 41-6, on Saturday night, and will host the NFC championship game on Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m. Either the Bears or Rams, who play in a divisional round playoff game at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Soldier Field, will be their opponent.

The Bears haven’t played the Seahawks this season. The Rams split their two games with the Seahawks this season, winning one by two points and losing the other by one point in overtime when the Seahawks won on a two-point conversion.

The Bears last played the Seahawks on Dec. 26, 2024, and lost, 6-3, when Caleb Williams went 16-for-28 for 122 yards and an interception. They last played at Lumen Field in Seattle three years earlier, to the day, and won, 25-24, with Nick Foles at quarterback.
