16 Indian ship crew detained in Iran, family appeals to PM Modi

Indian crew members of MT Valiant Roar are in Iranian custody. The family of Third Engineer Ketan Mehta has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The vessel was intercepted by the IRGC on December 8, 2025, accused of smuggling fuel. Mehta's family last heard from him on New Year's Eve.
