Rupee slides as tariff woes, outflows blunt impact of RBI intervention

The Indian rupee ‍ended lower on Thursday after a ​choppy session as fresh, surprise intervention by the Reserve ⁠Bank of India was outweighed by tariff worries and equity outflows.
