Shooter who killed Brown students and MIT professor planned attack for months, says DOJ

The U.S. Department of Justice reveals that Claudio Neves Valente, the shooter who killed two Brown University students and an MIT professor, had planned the attack for at least six semesters. Neves Valente, a former Brown student and Portuguese national, was found dead in a New Hampshire storage facility. He killed the students and wounded nine others on Dec. 13, then killed MIT professor Nuno F.G. Loureiro two days later. The FBI discovered videos where Neves Valente admits to planning the Brown shooting. He did not provide a motive but expressed no remorse, stating he wanted to "leave on his own terms."
